CISMA Pollutec

Matvision, partner of the CISMA project, took part in Pollutec 2025, one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for environmental and circular economy technologies. Matvision co-founders Robert Baudinet and Thibault Mohring represented the company during an inspiring week surrounded by top innovators and key players from the recycling industry. The fair took place in Lyon the past October 7-10.

At the Matvision booth, visitors could discover the company’s robotic sorting technology for complex industrial waste streams, with potential applications in ferrous metal recycling, particularly in purifying steel streams and remove copper impurities. This technology will be demonstrated and validated during the CISMA project for the sorting and selection of high-value scrap for the manufacturing of recycled circular steels.

The stand featured both Matvision and CISMA promotional materials, attracting strong interest from stakeholders eager to learn about advanced AI-driven and sensor-based solutions for sustainable steelmaking.

Following the success at Pollutec, Matvision will continue promoting CISMA at Ecomondo 2025, where the new CISMA project video will also be presented alongside their technology showcase.

Pollutec, held annually in Lyon, is a major international event bringing together professionals from across the environmental, energy, and resource recovery sectors. The 2025 edition gathered thousands of participants and exhibitors, offering a key platform to showcase innovative technologies contributing to the green transition and circular economy.
