From 4 to 7 May 2026, the CISMA project took part in IFAT Munich, one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to environmental technologies, recycling, water and circular economy solutions.
CISMA was represented at the fair by project partner MATVISION, with Robert Baudinet and Thibault Mohring attending the event and supporting dissemination activities.
At the MATVISION booth, CiSMA project flyers were exhibited and shared with visitors. The event provided an important opportunity to raise awareness of the project among a wide audience of industry representatives, technology providers, recyclers, research organisations and other stakeholders working towards more sustainable waste management and resource recovery.
The presence at IFAT Munich helped showcase CISMA’s contribution to the development of innovative technologies for metal recycling. In particular, the project’s approach supports the use of advanced sensing, data processing and automation to improve the recovery and purification of valuable materials from complex waste streams.
By participating in an international event with strong relevance to the recycling sector, CISMA strengthened its visibility within the European circular economy ecosystem. The fair also offered a valuable setting to disseminate project materials, engage with potential stakeholders and promote the role of technological innovation in enabling cleaner and more efficient recycling processes.
