Matvision took part in Ecomondo 2025, held in Rimini (Italy) from 4 to 7 November 2025, one of Europe’s most influential events dedicated to environmental technologies, resource recovery and sustainable industrial solutions.
Co-founders Robert Baudinet represented the company, engaging with visitors and presenting Matvision’s recent developments.
At their booth, attendees could explore Matvision’s robotic sorting technology for complex industrial waste streams, a promising solution for ferrous metal recycling. By enabling better identification and removal of copper-rich fractions, the technology contributes to improving steel purity.
Within the CISMA project, it will be tested and validated for sorting high-value scrap used in producing circular and recycled steel grades.
CISMA trifold also displayed, helping visitors understand the project’s objectives, technological approach and expected impact on sustainable steel production.
