Aerobase Innovations, based in Luleå and Trollhättan in Sweden, has extensive experience in materials modelling and process modelling of hot/cold stamping, tool design, AM, welding, etc. Aerobase is currently licensing material models, and the main products are a model for combined phase evolution and flow strength during hot stamping, and a model for deformation and failure of hot stamped parts with a focus on addressing challenges posed by recycled materials.
Aerobase expertise in FE-modelling and cloud-based simulation tools empowers industries to optimise material properties, ensuring safety and durability. Through partnerships, Aerobase delivers innovative solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of recycled materials.
Contribution to CiSMA
Aerobase Innovations develops advanced models for predicting deformation-induced failure and phase evolution in recycled automotive materials. These innovations can enable virtual simulations of crash scenarios and optimize weldability, addressing the effects of impurities like copper, tin, and sulfur. Aerobase’s contributions support the automotive industry in creating safer, more resilient components from sustainable materials.
